[Praise Poem on Sheikh Ahmad Tijani(RA)]

A brother requested that I (Jaffaru Ibrahim) should do an English translation of this Qasida (Poem) from Sheikh Ibrahim Nyass(Ra) praising Sheikh Tijani(Ra), so I pen down these lines,
This is what Sheikh is saying;
نَالَ ٱلتِّجَانِى أَبُو ٱلْعَبَّاسِ آيَاتِ
قَدْ فَازَ مِنْهَا قُطُوبٌ بِالْكَرَامَاتِ
"Abul Abass Tijani has attained Miracles, verily, the Qutubs had their Miracles from it
لِعَائِشَ ٱلْفَخْرُ إِذْ جَاءَتْ بِسَيِّدِنَا
قُطْبِ ٱلْقُطُوبِ فَرِيدًا فِى ٱلْمَقَامَاتِ
Honour is with Aisha, for she begot our Master, the pole of poles, the one with unique station in spiritual stations,
خَتْمُ ٱلْوِلاَيَةِ سُلْطَانُ ٱلْوِلَايَةِ بَا
بٌ لِلْوِلَايَةِ مِفْتَاحُ ٱلْوِلايَاتِ
The seal of sainthood, the head of sainthood, the gate of sainthood and the key of sainthood.
لِذَاكَ هِمْتُ غَرَامًا مِنْ مَوَدَّتِهِ
تَعْتَادُنِى زَفَرَاتٌ كُلَّ أَوْقَاتِ
I am enruptured in his love, due to that, groaning has become part of my normalcy at all time,
أَقْسَمْتُ بِالطُّورِ أَنَّ ٱلشَّيْخَ يُحْمِلُنِي
مَاانْدَكَّ عَنْهُ حُنَيْنٌ كَالْغُبَارَاتِ
I swear by (the Lord of mountain) Tur that Sheikh (Tijani) has overburden me ( with his love), anytime (mountain) Tur is crashed into fine dust during the time of divine conversation,
خَلِيفَةُ ٱللهِ رَمْزُ ٱلْكَوْنِ رُوحُ جَمِيـ
ـعِ ٱلْخَلْقِ وَهْوَ لَأَصْلٌ لِلْوُجُودَاتِ
The vicegerent of Allah, the symbol and the soul of all created beings,
مُبَرِّقُ ٱلْبَرْقِ مُرْعِدُ ٱلرُّعُودِ وَمُمْطِـ
ـرُ ٱلْمُزُونِ وَمِنْقَاذُ ٱلْبَرِيَّاتِ
The flash of lightening, the cause of thunders, the rain cloud and the saviour of creations,
تِلْكَ ٱلْمَكَارِمُ لَاقَعْبَانِ مِنْ لَبَنٍ
تِلْكَ ٱلْوَرَاثَةَ مِنْ أَعْلَى ٱلْأَرُومَاتِ
Such are the generosities and not vessel of milk,
Such is the inheritance from the noble lineages,
هَـٰذَا ٱبْنُ فَاطِمَةٍ فَرْعُ ٱلنُّبُوَّةِ هَـٰ
ـذَا أَحْمَدُ ٱلْخَتْمِ مُعْطٍ لِلْمَقَامَاتِ
This is the son of Fatima, the offspring of prophethood,
This is Ahmad , the seal saint, the giver of spiritual stations,
هَـٰذَا ٱلَّذِى مِنْهُ أَرْجُو كُلَّ آوِنَةٍ
نَيْلَ ٱلْفُتُوحِ وَتَسْهِيلَ ٱلْمَرَامَاتِ
This is the one I seek the attainment and easeness of spiritual openings and goals at all time,
أَزْكَىٰ صَلَاةٍ وَتَسْلِيمٍ عَلَى سَنَدِى
وَٱلْآلِ وَٱلصَّحْبِ شُهْبٍ لِلْخَلِيقَاتِ
Pure blessings and peace be upon my source, the family and the companions, the shooting stars for living creatures"
